The Beauty of Horn

Just in a new assortment of horn goods to our ever growing collection. I am mad for it all as I love the assortment of natural colors throughout. There is a warmth to it all. The horn these artisans work with is from water buffalo and Ankole longhorn who have died of natural causes. I think it is a lovely way to pay homage to them, as the pieces live on in their memory. From salt cellars, to an array of serving spoons, to cups & bowls, and oh so much more. It was fun to display it all together and see all the variation collected over the years. My first pieces were long handled spoons I picked up in Paris at a street market and from there the collection has continued to grow.
